Shreyas ano-rectal hospital & research centre was a dream project of Dr. Mukul Patel & Dr. Medha Patel. Established in 1988, it is at present one of the very few ano-rectal hospitals offering almost all ano-rectal treatments under one roof. 24 years of dedicated quality service in the field has placed the institute at a height, few can reach.

During the past years, more than 48 thousands patients of various ano-rectal diseases including more than 4200 cases of recurrent high anal, complex, multi-track fistulas and many cases of recto-vaginal fistulas have been treated with remarkable success, a rare feat which very few ano-rectal hospitals can claim.

Conservative treatment, Para surgical and surgical procedures have been adopted and modified based on the principles of Ayurveda- the time tested ancient Indian Medical science and also taking advantage of modern technology where ever necessary.

The Ksharasutra (medicated setone) therapy and other ano-rectal surgical procedures based on Ayurveda principles are practiced in India since times immemorable. Revived, modified and standardised by the late Dr. P. J. Deshpande. The Ksharasutra therapy is a unique treatment for fistulas which is slowly gaining properly globally.

The Shreyas ano-rectal hospital and research centre is headed by Dr. Mukul Patel post graduate of IPGT & RA, Jamnagar. He has a vaste experience of working exclusively in the field of ano-rectal diseases since more than 25 years. He is also a recognised (by dept. of Ayush, Ministry of Health, Govt. of India) resource person for the purpose of promoting and propagating this unique treatment (Ksharasutra therapy).
